Like MSN messenger, it tells you the contacts who are online next to their names. In yahoo messenger, how do you know that? it doesn't
tell whether they're online or offline.
How to know the online status of contacts in Yahoo messenger. I see it nowhere?
First you sign in to Yahoo! Messenger, then do the following:
If you see a picture or a yellow smiley at the left of the person's name/email address, that means that person is online.
If they are offline(or invisible, which you will not know), the smiley is grey and somewhat sad and sleeping.
