When attempting to start a webcam session in Yahoo Messenger, I receive the "Sorry, you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently unable to use the Yahoo! Webcam service". This is odd because Messenger is on the Windows Firewall exception list and the exception list I have for another security application, Trend Micro PC-cillin. I turned off both firewalls off just to see if it would work, and I still received the same message. Does anyone know what is causing this problem?
How do I get my firewall to allow Yahoo Messenger to utilize a webcam session?
if you are accessing it from the office or if the service providor has done a firewall, sometimes like in student hostels where the connection is shared , or lan is made then there is the same problem....
