The menu at the top of the screen (where the list of contacts is) isn't there all the time, I have to press the alt key to show it.
Does anyone know how to make it stay there all the time?

How do I make the menu bar on Windows Live Messenger stay on the screen all the time?
Click on the “menu” icon and then select “show the menu bar.” That will keep the bar at the top.
