How do I keep from automatically signing in on Yahoo Messenger every time I start Windows?

sign out then sign back in don`t check the box 'sign in automatically'....so uncheck that box cause you have it checked right now.

1) Click on 'Start' ---%26gt; 'Run'





2) Type 'msconfig'





3) In the System Configuration Utility select 'Selective Startup'





4) Now click on the startup tab and deselect the messenger from the list of items. Usually it is 'YPager' for Yahoo Messenger





5) Click on Apply and then restart your computer.





that will stop yahoo messenger from automatically loading when windows reboots.

Reply:go to the run prompt from the start menu and in the run command type MSCONFIG then click on





then you will see a tab that says startup





in that tab uncheck all items then check only the programs you want to start up with your computer but my sugguestion is only start your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs





but unchecking all these other things that you can start manually you will speed up your computer and while your at it before restarting (when you finish in msconfig you will be prompted to restart, just exit without restarting)





back inb the run command type Prefetch 7 then when the box opens, select all items and delete them (do this once a month or so)it willa lso help your computers preformance
