How do you hook it up and what kind do you need. Also how do you get ur friends to see it if they don't have one?

you plug it in, and determine whether it works. your cam should have come with a manual and software. read the first to know how to use the second.





i have used many different webcams - a labtec model, a shark digital camera (pocket sized), and a sony handycam, hooked up to an analog/digital converter. so long as your comptuer can recognize the camera, yahoo IM should recognize it, too.





with the cam connected, and you logged in to YahooIM, start up a conversation, with your friend, and click the Cam button. This will invite them to view your cam, and change your status to "View my webcam" or something like that. Your friend either wants to see you or not - they don't need their own cam, but it is polite to show yourself when you are looking on. You may want to change your status beforehand to invisible so that when you invite your friend to view your cam, all the people in your Relatives list don't know what you are up to.

Reply:Well first hook up your camera to pc...Then redownload MSN AND OR YAHOO....then it will be connected with your cam..and when u want to use it ..just hit ..VIEW my webcam

Next, you should install the software that comes with it. Once that's settled, you go to Yahoo! Messenger and click on Messenger-%26gt;My Webcam If it's properly installed a window will pop up with your current webcam image and your friends will see a view my webcam link next to your user id
