How to get yahoo chat rooms in yahoo messenger?

I have installed two yahoo messengers only for getting yahoo chat rooms but they r not available in any version.Can anybody help how to get them?

Any version of Yahoo Messenger should allow you to connect to chat rooms, unless your country is excluded, I seen that happen on other chat systems.


Try this.


Go to "Messenger" on top of your messenger screen, open it...and click on Join chat....you will see yahoo chat rooms....


From there you can find the group where you want to visit a chat room in.



Reply:Apparently there is no way to enter chat if you downloaded the yahoo messeger for vista. You could still chat but, it doesnt have that feature and tryin to find out myself. Report Abuse

Reply:Not all versions of Yahoo messenger allow you to enter chat rooms. If you're on a PC with windows install version 8 or the 9 beta. Since the 9 is still in beta I don't recommend it, stick with the version 8 for now. From the messenger menu you'll find, Yahoo! Chat%26gt;Join a Room . It will load chat and you'll have to choose the room you want. You'll need to go through captcha before you can actually chat inside the room you choose. Don't worry it's just a simple word verification that Yahoo uses to try to keep bots out of the chat rooms.
