Every time someone tries to share a photo with me, all I see is a gray square box. When they try a direct transfer of a file, it always fails to download. Can't figure it out. HELP!!
What must I do to be able to receive photos in Yahoo messenger photo sharing?
Do you have 8.1 or newer version of Yahoo Messenger?
Do you have YTunnel what might block receiving photos or files in its preferences?
Do you have peer to peer block on your computer?
Check your fire wall if it blocks any of the yahoo ports.

Reply:OK this answer goes a bit farther, but when will people start taking into account not all of us even know TCP is, much less what a port is. I will find the answer and give a tutorial myself.
