I already checked the Startup folder, but it's empty. It's getting annoying for the other people who use this computer when they log on to see the thing every time when I'm the only one that uses it.
How do I stop MSN messenger from popping up every time I log onto my account on the computer?
Click on your name on MSN and go down to options.
Click the "General" tab and uncheck the box which says "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log onto Windows."

And a run window will appear. Type "msconfig" a box will come up that offers you some options. Click on the tab that says startup I believe. Then look for msmmes or something similar and just uncheck the box and restart the computer ... msn will never start when your computer starts or you log in again.
Reply:you need to go into the msn settings and untick the box that says automatically start msn when windows starts
Reply:Try http://popup-remover.com
Good luck!
