How do I keep Yahoo Messenger from signing out by itself? It will say you have signed onto another device.?

It will say I have signed in or out of another device or computer which I don't have. It will interrupt me with other things that I am trying to do.

1) Set your status to "offline " next to your name in Yahoo Mail by using the drop-box - this will allow you to have Messenger and Mail open at same time ( yahoo mail is another device )

2) You are not exiting Messenger but just hitting the (X) which merely closes the page - change settings %26gt; Messenger %26gt; Preferences %26gt; General - check box "Sign out of Messenger when I close the main window "

3) Your ID has been hi-jacked and someone has signed in as you on another computer - to check exit Messenger exit Mail type your ID into this software and hit "GO"
