I'm wondering where I could go to download yahoo messenger 8 plus, because I've heard it has fantastic features. Can someone please tell me.

Go to your Yahoo page, click on "Downloads" in the left column and download "Messenger". In doing this, be sure to "Run" your download not "Save" it.
This will make sense once you begin downloading
As for Beta, Beta means testing and I, personally, stay away from anything "Beta". But if you want to help test things, be my guest.
