I know that they can't contact you anymore, but if your screen name is still on their messenger list, will you still show online or will you just appear invisable to them? And when they try to im you will they get a message that says they've been put on my ignore list? What will happen when they try to im you?

When you ignore a contact, you always appear offline to the contact. They cannot view your status or send you an IM.
Ive never had anyone on my ignore list be able to contact me.

Reply:i hate to tell you this, you can put them on your ignore list till hell freezes over and they'll be able to contact you. I've ignore some people so many times, but they still come back. I'm guessing if your on their messenger list, they'll be about to see when you come on line unless your invisible.
