Well i thought it was the windows 9.0 but it wasn't! I saw it in an internet cafe but the owner wouldn't tell me!

customize
event notifications
click at ADD
select the contacts you want to create a event for
'next'
select an event (for example a new one to one conversation is started, or a contact abandoned the conversation, or logged put etc..)
set up the sound and pop up notification
create a date you want to expire the event if you want to use it temporally
apply/ok

Reply:The owner of the Internet Cafe could of been using an application such as Messenger Plus which has options I believe which can put on to indicate a contact has signed offline.
Reply:get messenger plus live (google it) it tells u when a user logs off IF u have an opened window with the person + u color ur nickame u should try it
