You click on the cam button when you are in chat
also you should test to see you cam works from your desktop
Reply:sign in %26gt; go to messenger %26gt; my webcam %26gt; a box should pop up saying broadcast/idle. click broadcast. your webcam should then show up in your messenger status. your friends should be able to see it, and when they do they'll send you request. and the rest is history.
