Hi mychemical_disaster,

My name is Tara and I am with the Windows Outreach Team. To remove a Messenger skin and restore your messenger to its original state (you will loose all patch settings) follow these steps:

1. Open the start tab

2. Locate your system setting

3. Open the control panel

4. Select Add/Remove programs

5. Find your messenger program

6. Single click and select “restore” option

7. Follow any other directions – depending on version

You can download skins directly from the Messenger Live site here: http://www.msgpluslive.net/skins/

I hope this is helpful!

Cheers,

Tara

Reply:Try and uninstall Windows Live messenger , then re-install

or

Go to the folder where the downloads are kept and delete..

Microsoft does not do skins for Live Messenger , so you can get those skins for third party companies but I would be very careful with these , cause most have spyware included ( e.g install their toolbars )....I would tend not to download any more of these skins and I would uninstall the programme where you get these skins and run my antispyware programmes
Reply:sorry but i dunno how to help u
